end 10/30 but could extend ( this is a LOA coverage). 1 month assignment to start.

This person will specifically work on projects in the areas of Supply Chain and Facilities procurement. Facilities leases, transportation projects and supply chain commodities like corrugate, bags, conveyors, etc.

Leads all Procurement-related activities to source requested indirect goods and services based upon business requirements. Accountable for leading competitive bid events including screening, communications, RFI, RFP, negotiations, and supporting contracting and administration for all indirect categories. Candidate should be a subject matter expert (SME) and capable of supporting of key corporate strategic initiatives, including SG&A, HR, Retail, Marketing and Advertising, and Information Technology.

Sourcing Strategy Leadership
Develop and implement sourcing strategies and productivity programs, in partnership with stakeholders and GSS colleagues in order to optimize category spend and maximize the potential value of the supply markets and the company’s core business objectives. Develop and execute action plans to achieve category objectives through identifying risks and obstacles and creating strategies and tactics to surmount obstacles. Effectively communicates the opportunity profile of each category and develops new productivity ideas. Supports development of productivity pipeline and cash flow improvement initiatives.

Negotiations
Leads and executes key negotiations, inclusive of preparation and planning for responsible categories. Conducts negotiations employing appropriate techniques and solicits cross-functional input as appropriate. Negotiates commercial aspects of contracts to ensure the company receives the best possible prices, terms and conditions to gain a competitive advantage vs. the peer group companies/competitors for a scope of responsibility, without losing quality of any distribution services and meeting service and quality requirements.

Stakeholder alignment
Establish and maintain alliances with key internal and external stakeholders focused on qualitative benefits as well as total cost. Partner with stakeholders to guide them and educate them on the purchase policy. Provide category expertise for industry dynamics including economic/market conditions, complexity of players and contingency plans to address unforeseen fall-out. Leverage local and regional sourcing strategies.

Candidate must be able to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally.

Skills Required :

Candidate should be Graduate, MBA, BTech, BCA, BCS, MCA
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
